Surrey Savanah

Spent the day escaping the various jubilee celebrations walking with some friends on a 10 mile walk around Elstead in Surrey, UK. The weather was pretty mixed but we managed to stay dry.

Towards the end of the day we were walking through heathland which had obviously suffered from a pretty serious fire not too long ago. I was stuck how similar the scene was to the typical sub sarahan affrican shots you see (ususally with an elephant or two). Unfortunately there were no elehants to be seen!
