X marks the spot

You know you live in rural Lincolnshire when your polling station is indicated by a sign on a wheelie bin parked on a roundabout at the end of a cul-de-sac directing you to the hallway of someone's bungalow. An item on the radio this morning was suggesting that people voting in a pub and even a launderette was bizarre but the booths in a bungalow concept beats those, I think. And I actually only live two miles from the centre of Lincoln so not so rural after all. I made my mark but suspect that it will be a minuscule drop in a deep blue ocean, around here at least.
