Not mushroom here

Spotted these little fungi forcing their way through the gravel in my borders.
Not sure what they are but they look like something`s having a nibble at them.
Methinks I`ll leave them where they are.

I actually don`t know how they`re growing there as there`s no soil, just a metre of hardcore and sand and 7.5cms gravel
