Election Comment

'The Pen is Mightier than the Words' - the Scots are a proud and independent race, we pride ourselves in our honesty , openness and straight talking. However as demonstrated yesterday, if you lie to us, break promises, betray us and threaten us we will not forget it easily. As the old Scottish toast says ' here's tae us whas like us , no many and thur aw deid! ' that now includes the Labour Party in Scotland. As a life time socialist and labour voter I regret the situation but put the blame firmly at the feet of a leadership who did not tune into the feelings, culture and voice of the Scottish nation. Hell Slap it into yeh !
