WHITE HERON (KOTUKU)

This is the great egret - who I call HARRY.  He comes occassionally to visit from the West Coast - flying across the great divide.  They become solitary during the winter then fly back to Okarito on the west Coast to join up with their partners to propagate the species.  Its fitting we have Prince HARRY here this weekend - He's off t Stewart Island - I hope he's not thinking of doing what this HARRY does.
I took a 100 shots today and couldnt for the life of me decide on which to choose. - spoilt for choice doesnt happen often- I put up a couple of extras ( if your interested )
