Yes, yes, yes...

We were sat on a bench by the square in Winchester enjoying the afternoon sun when our attention was drawn to a young man
dressed in a suit who suddenly went down on one knee.

It quickly became clear he was about to propose to his girlfriend.

The whole thing took place in front of everyone sat around the square and there was a great round of applause when she said yes and they kissed.

I was lucky to be sat only a few yards away, I didn't have my camera but quickly got my phone out to capture this moment.

I did go over afterwards to congratulate them and I showed them the picture which they were really pleased with and keen to have. Duly sent to them afterwards - a nice record of a beautiful moment.
