Guernsey Liberation Day

Today we celebrate 70 years since the liberation of enemy forces in Guernsey during the second world war.  The town seafront was closed and was opened up to the public with all sorts of entertainment included a cavalcade of marching soldiers, bands, military vehicles, old classic vehicles and floats depicting items of the era.
