'Nick'

Bella started her Judo classes this morning, and loved it. I think it tired out MsMun more than Bella though, as the parents in the younger group get involved too.

After Dylan's Judo class, Dylan's mate Lucian came over to our house for a play. They all played soccer out the back paddock.

I managed to finish the camera obscura frame that I've been working on for one of the teachers at the kids school and then we headed over to another one of Dylan's friends houses for his birthday party. It was more of an adults birthday party, with around 80 people there, a huge bonfire in the backyard which ended in toasting marshmallows. The theme was soup and apple crumble, everyone had to bring along a big pot of soup or an apple crumble to share. It was a brilliant idea. MsMun made an apple and celeriac soup which was delicious.

The party started at 3:30pm and we didn't leave until around 8:30pm at night. It really was a fun afternoon / night for everyone.

Nick here is a keen brewer and bought along several bottles of his home-brew. The first bottle he opened was a German Bok beer which was without a doubt, the best beer I've ever tasted in my life. Hopefully he's got some more of it, because we're planning a beer & burrito's night at our house soon and I'd love to try a bit more of it.
