Christian Aid Book Sale

I really couldn't face the hordes of bodies in the crush at the Big Sale in town so began our annual scavenging for bargains at the quieter, but increasingly popular, venue at Holy Corner.

And a delight it proved to be, chatting with friends old and new, and coming home with a pile of books for the Flumlet to chew and some classics for him to 'grow into' plus a couple of local history books for the ever-expanding Flum library.

If that's not enough, there's still a week to investigate the stock in the Big Sale in town...
