Fresh

I was working with E this afternoon, and headed over to the westside early so I could go for a walk. I decided on Barvas machair and it was lovely. Lots of lambs and oyster catchers (two of which can be seen flying away from me in this blip, if you look carefully!). I could smell the sea long before I arrived at the shore: such a fresh and evocative smell and it really put a spring in my step. I spent a great hour wandering round and taking photographs. 

I took E up to Ness for a walk on the beach too, then drinks and ice cream in Cafe Sonas before heading back to town for a wander. I'll be tired again tonight!
