Needs & Wants

So we ran away to York to avoid the jubilee.
Not that we are anti Royal. Far from it. Just can't be doing with all the fuss.
However, York turns out to be the biggest money grabbing, rip of UK city I have ever beento. ( Though I haven't been to London yet!).
So now being a devout Christian and going to York Minster will set you back £9.25 each to pray.
Fortunately, As happens, the C of E have successfully converted me in to a Heretic.

The Castle museum will set you back another£8.50 each and jorvick £9.50 each ( almost worth it but not quite.

Roll on the strangest tomorrow.

Honestly, holidaying at home is far more expensive than holidaying abroad!

BTW as far as the tea & cakes go, when did need ever enter in to it ;-)
