Getting to know you

The whippet is a very sociable creature, she doesn't hold back and gets straight in there with a warm hello.

Talking of warm, it wasn't. When me and Eve turned up at Leith Links this morning it was 9 degrees centigrade. Her team played well and I was really proud when she put in some big "reducers" and even though they were beaten they played really well. Roast chicken to warm us up at home and then we all watched The Artist. There was lots of explaining about the fact that yes films really were made without sound at one time, and in black and white. Once the historical accuracies were cleared up everyone enjoyed it.

Then a walk along the riverbank with the whippet. We have a kingfisher nest close by and a new family of otters. The fact today's blip is of the whippet sticking her snout up another dog's nether regions tells you all you need to know about my success on that score.
