Fungus on old tree trunk

Honey fungus?  Anyway, it is honey-coloured, and measures about ten inches by six (25mm x 15mm).

Unusually, I used a tripod for this photo and so was able to take the shot at f/18.  The result is akin to a still life, as the whole scene is in sharp focus.
