A new skill?

My first ever tapestry, workshop courtesy of Mr H for Christmas. In case you can't tell, it's a sheep:)  Great tapestry day course from Jane's Art in Temple. 

As well as learning some basics of tapestry it was interesting to hear how the art schools no longer have it on the curriculum, so a good tapestry workshop is hard to find. One of the participants had come from Liverpool for the day and another from Poland (via Dundee) - I always knew that Jane was a great teacher (having taught Ms H in primary school for a while) but I appreciate her many skills even more now. And of course, her chef, administrator, chauffeur (and husband) Mr G also deserves a mention.
