A Grand Day Out!

We are with our daughter in London.

She had to open the dance studios this morning so we went with her and had a quick studio tour. (See 2nd photo) We also saw the awards the company (The Balletboyz) have won. I was too scared to pick one up but have now at least touched an Olivier and an Emmy!

We then had a proper breakfast followed by a jaunt into town.

Next stop was Tate Britain. I love galleries. I could spend all day in one but we had more on our agenda.

We went to a ticket booth in Leciester Square and bought 3 matinee tickets for "Sunny Afternoon" for £39 each at the Harold Pinter. A discount of £60 per ticket! "Sunny Afternoon" is the story of The Kinks. It was superb!

Time for a wander round and drinks at a pub opposite the theatre in Dury Lane.

Dinner in a vegetarian Indian restaurant.

A twilight meander over Waterloo bridge and the South Bank and then back to Florence's flat for cake and coffee.

I took lots of photos of course - but what to choose!
