Dia de Caracol

The big day has arrived. The snails have been caught and cooked in a special secret recipe, well I made sure it was kept a secret from me anyway.
It's Riogordo's famous dia de caracol.
They travel far and wide to taste this delicacy,while others travel very far indeed to avoid them.
Being the brave little soldier I am, I did try a couple to appease my Spanish friend sat next to me, who was by then on her third bowl.
So although it's a Sunday, no roast lunch today.
