LITTLE & LARGE

Such excitement this afternoon. After I'd spent a very long time talking to a very sad friend on the phone I headed out for a break and spotted lots of cars parked on one of the roads I sometimes drive along searching for blips. I guessed they were twitchers and found out they were there for a Red-throated Pipit, blown in from Siberia. I joined in and actually saw it, but honestly if it hadn't been for the twitchers pointing the way I'd never have noticed it or identified it. It was too far away for a blip, so here's one from Saltholme of a Heron and a Little Egret.
