Painterly

Out on a walk around the local roads today I spotted this wisteria hanging over the fence. It was right at eye level and I was able to see the flowers in detail. I noticed for the first time the green flower centres. Many years ago I went on a botanical illustration course but despite enjoying the course and being quite successful, I never took it up. This flower makes me want to pick up my paintbrush again.
