Alpaca

I`m lucky to live not half a mile away from an SSSI otherwise known as Burbage common and woods. It`s a great open space for walking the dogs, horse riding, practising your golf shots and just generally walking.
Today was the annual open day. An event which gets the whole community to take an interest in what goes on around them. There is loads going on to showcase local people who create lovely furniture and things out of wood, produce gorgeous food and drink, how to care for the wild life in your garden........pretty much anything that goes on in the country is showcased here.
The owners of the Alpacas have a farm in the next village and they breed them for their wool which is luxuriously soft. They`re a great attraction especially for the kids, and let`s face it, who can resist those gorgeous eyes. If you`re interested, they have got some for sale....£350..
