Too late he's off
Up at 6.30 and out an hour later as Georgia was meeting up with her girl guide group to go to Thorpe Park for the day. Isn't it Sunday... should of still been in bed!
Waved them off and then making the most of being up and about early myself and a friend took a drive to check on a bluebell wood we'd been to a couple of weeks ago when the bluebells weren't quite in full bloom. They were gorgeous today, small patches and carpets spreading beneath the trees. Whilst walking the only sounds we heard were of birds tweeting.. even heard a cuckoo... couldn't see him though. Then as we were leaving hearing the sound of a peacocks call we drove up the lane to investigate. On the first drive by couldn't see the peacock either and so turned around to go home. About to give up we looked up to the sound of their call and there it was on a roof of a nearby house but they were off and not looking back.
Back home. Breakfast. Then spent the day doing final touches to Georgias new bedroom as the wardrobes are to be delivered tomorrow. Final touches being the skirting board and what a pain they are to cut.
