the wider view; the problem, looking south

Now that I have a reasonably sharp and HD-capable bicycle-camera I'll need to set it to tele-mode picture-burst one morning to try and capture this view as it looks like it should look like but which isn't quite possible to be in the right place for from the footway with a proper camera, without a set of ladders.

Whilst a few of the results were still trickling in this morning it was already looking fairly certain by the time I awoke that the exit poll had been closer than the entry polls: five years of unrelenting and unameliorated selfish bastardism, and it seems the slight reduction in the severity begat by the Lib Dem's sacrifice has only made the selfish bastard party's appetite keener. Maybe enough of them will defect or do something extreme enough for expulsion to narrow the thin majority sufficiently to protect us a little. Hopefully, after five years of it, the voters from the Borders southwards who should really have known better will not do the same thing next time.
