Work of Art

At the Top of the South Area Schools Tournament each year (which we hosted in March/April) there is always an "Art Challenge".  The one we set was for each school to paint a wedge to create a mural.  Each school was allocated a colour of the rainbow and then had to use that colour, with paint and collage, to depict the theme 'harmony' on their slice of the rainbow.

The quality of each piece was really high and I know it wasn't an easy task for our guest judge (internationally renowned Princess Hart) to come to a decision on the placings.

We have now mounted the finished art work on our hall foyer wall.  Isn't it superb?!

Our's is the green slice.

Sorry to miss a day of the May Macro Mayhem, but this was too special to miss today.
