Hello, little one

There's nothing like a gentle stroll through woodland, on a bright but not hot day.

I went with a good friend over to the RSPB reserve at Middleton Hall Lakes and we seemed to have it all to ourselves for most of the  morning. Apart from the friendly wildlife that is.

This cheeky little robin came and sat by us as we were looking at the silt pool, and I was trying out some panning techniques on a black-headed gull that was fishing (extra photo).

Baby cows, cute and cheeky horse, wonderful plants, nutty bluetit and a gentle sparrow...... but the robin had to be the blip choice.

And we reckon we deserved the chunky chips and garlic mayonnaise after all that fun :-)
