St Patrick's Breastplate?

I arise today, through
The strength of heaven,
The light of the sun,
The radiance of the moon,
The splendour of fire,
The speed of lightning,
The swiftness of wind,
The depth of the sea,
The stability of the earth,
The firmness of rock.

From St Patrick's Breastplate or  the Lorica of St Patrick, supposedly dating from the 5C and writtten by the man himself. There's a lot more but this is the bit I like best.

This was an unexpected sight down a backstreet of Cork - I liked the window behind too.
Yes, we've been to the big city for the essentials. I did rather well and have returned with vests (cool ones not aertex!), sandals, smellies and the latest Anne Enright book. Himself did less well. We rendezvoused at 3pmish supposedly at the end of the excursion for an ice cream in the park for the sun was shining. However we got seriously distracted by first going off to admire the Old Beamish building (Arts & Craft), and then spotting the old Elizabethan fort in the distance. This had to be done too. You can climb high up onto the walk way which has panoramic views all over Cork. We then realised we were near St Finbarre's Cathedral which looked enticing and also had to be explored- a wonderful Gothic pile designed by William Burgess. This part of Cork is a maze of old buildings and little lanes and just when we needed it most we came across a very funky tea shop plus library where custard tarts and Earl grey were consumed. My feet hurt.
