Semuc Champey

Today nursing a hangover from getting to socially excited last night (lots of aussies at hostel )we got on the back of a truck and hung on for our lives for 30min deeper into the jungle! Firstly we went into a cave - again water logged so deep we had to swim but this time with our candles in our mouth as we only had candle light - it was very romantic! After a delicious lunch at a roadside bbq cooked by a guatamalan mumma ( chicken, torillas, guac, rice, beans and salad) we trekked for 30min up the steepest incline of a mountain you have seen! It was so bad Jess couldn't even winge as she had no breath to talk!! The view was breath taking (literally) as you can see from the photo! After a welcomed decent we got to swim in the beautiful clear blue pools. Two local kids joined our group and took us through what was like a water park - they showed us all the coolest places to jump in, climb, swim and slide down! Go Pro footage to come!!
