Blows your mind away

Mr H and I have tried to go to Coldstone Cut once before , but as we parked in the car park a  heavy blizzard came down and we abandoned it for a coffee and cake in Pateley Bridge. As the weather forecast was great to day we tried again. We made it to the top, but we were alone except for 2 sheep and 2 lambs. The wind was so fierce it was impossible to speak to each other, and certainly no chance of holding a camera steady as it was difficult to stand up in the wind. However, the views were just stunning , when you could open your eyes against the onslaught and we will be back. The structure blew my mind away in more ways than one.

We the called into Pateley Bridge where I spotted this ghost sign, the one on the right says ' we hold the largest stock in the district of the original wellingt '

I also saw an old Midland Bank sign ( or evidence of so had to put this as one of my extras today) .

As Reggie needed to be on the lead at Coldstone Cut we took him back to a different part of Hackfall Woods so he could have a good run. The wild garlic was just wonderful, so have put one of them in extras too.
