Not so Common Blue

This is the upper wing of the male of the colourful "conjoined" pair of Common Blues that I posted a few days ago. This year there do not seem to be so many for some reason.

Thanks for all your heartfelt wishes for the Nepalese again yesterday. Our Sherpa friends and family are all safe thank goodness, the children are particularly traumatised, understandably.

I had no idea that NZ was still receiving aftershocks after all this time. It must be very frightening, my sympathies.
