Travels Through A Lens

Jubilee Celebrations

Spent the day herding giant sheep around Skipton in the pouring rain.

Skipton's Giant Swaledales and Sammie the Sheepdog joined in the street party fun on Skipton's high street. The children absolutely adored them and to see their delight, especially with one little girl just jumping up and down for ages with a huge grin on her face saying 'sheep, sheep, sheep' and little boys hugging and dancing with Sammie the Sheepdog made the outing in the rain all the worth while. The adults loved them too getting pictures with them. Imagine sitting in a pub and a giant sheep looking in on you through the window. We made a lots of people laugh and lots of pictures were taken.

We even got on the national news!

Whatever we think of the monarchy, to have the community out having fun in the pouring rain to me is fantastic. And typical as I'm posting this on Monday morning we have blue skies!! Oh well :)

Thank you so much for all the comments, stars and hearts on the poppy. You're fantastic. I'm catching up on journals later today (Monday) having been otherwise engaged keeping sheep from straying!
