Beans

If only all litter was this colorful!  Seed pods from a common desert landscape tree around here (whose name I don't know) are a beautiful reminder of the short, sweet growing season we have.  Like many of our plants, these trees burst into bloom at the first sign of spring moisture, set seed, and then shed all their seeds and leaves, all in a matter of weeks.
