We have had some excellent Bluebell blips in the past week and it was tempting to look for another.

But as variety is the essence of Blipland I thought I could remember where another springtime blue flower grows in profusion.

So here is Bugle. Ajuga reptans. This impressive display grows in Grubbins Meadow, a Cumbria Wildlife Trust reserve just half a mile from the centre of Arnside village.
