Our mummy loves us!

Coot chicks are not particularly cute but there is something very likeable about them with their red faces and yellow/orange neck ruff. Unfortunately you can't see their feet but for a chick that size the feet are enormous. These wee ones were scooting about up at the James Hamilton Heritage Park.
The swan is still sitting on her nest and all the goslings have disappeared. I hope they are all settled on the island now that they are all big enough to clamber up over the stones.
