Leazes Park

A quick jaunt to the park after work this morning. I had planned on photographing some of the magnificent blossom which has survived the recent winds.  However, the battery died on my big camera with my macro lens but thankfully had the wee compact in my bag.  At the top of the photograph the Leazes Stand at St James Park football ground can be seen, the home of Newcastle United.  I have tried unsuccessfully to disguise it with the tree branch!
