Blackbird #2

Properly lit this time.

Yes, it's two blackbirds in a row (I promise I won't do a string of 24), but I'm glad I took this, especially given the extremely wet afternoon.

The female blackbirds round my way have remarkable sangfroid: you can get fairly close to them before they hop off.  the males are much shyer!

This one was preening itself and completely ignoring me.  Unfortunately, those shots were either blurred or just ineffective, so I went for this one instead.
