56 are Chosen!!

Well what a momentous night, the last one was. 

The General Election of 2015 put the tories back in power with a slim but overall majority....mmmmmm..

However up here in Scotland, we were creating our own piece of history. Of the 59 possible elected MP's, 56 of them came from the Scottish National Party!

A wave of political fervour north of the border after last years referendum has continued - and with a great number of Scots, I believe, feeling disenfranchised with the 2 main political parties in the UK, have decided to back the SNP to represent them at Westminster.

The next five years will be interesting and as one picture on Facebook suggested with Nicola Sturgeon looking at Mr Cameron...there seemed to be a caption waiting to be written..

"Better get the kettle on David!!"
