at least that's - one benefit of all - the recent rains we - have had - the many layers of - green which have begun - showing up through - all the trees, bushes and grasses - it is sheer delight - to walk outside - breathe in fresh air - see spring bursting all around - in addition to seeing birds - like this colorful magpie - with wings spread in - full iridescent glory - it's not often i can - get them like this - since they fly so - fast, so although it may - not be a perfect shot it - reminds me of - how gorgeous these birds are - why i enjoy them so much - and how seeing them makes for...
