Hummerless

I was very excited this morning when I caught a fleeting glimpse of my first hummingbird near the feeder outside the kitchen window.  I spent a lot of time out in the garden with my camera during the day, hoping to get a shot of one, but had no luck.  I saw this little flying creature just outside the front door this evening…some sort of moth, I think, and it will have to be my blip for today.  

This was taken with the 70-300 mm lens and not the macro lens.  These kinds of creatures won't allow you to get close enough with the macro lens.
