MayMacroMayhem:Chain

Just as blip panic was about to set in this evening I walked past the kitchen table and noticed Mr isbi's new chainsaw chain.
I whacked the 3 macro rings (+1,+2 and +4) onto the zoom lens for some maymacromayhem.

Tonight we had the pleasure of meeting Mel and Frank, sister and  brother in law of one of Julia's friends.
They got a last minute entry into the North Face 100 km ultra marathon tomorrow and couldn't find anywhere to stay in the mountains so we are putting them up here.

The race goes through a corner of our farm and some years we have watched them go past. We will miss it tomorrow as off to Sydney again.

How anyone can run that distance over that terrain is completely beyond my comprehension.
