Yaffle Do

Lots of people have taken today off to make a lovely long weekend.  Not me though.  I was in the office and up to my eyes in rubbish at 7 this morning. 

Had more than a little success though and when it got to 3:30, it was time to skedaddle.  We've now done our shopping* and I can forget about everything until Monday.

This Yaffle was not alone, there was another one in a tree 20 meters away but they did not fancy a together Blip.  That would have been something of a coup.  But it's great to see them singly too.

*does anyone in Scotland still "go their messages"?  I remember that was what was planned every Saturday morning, we had to get up nice and early and "go the messages".  It struck me as weird then and it still does.
