View from the Royal Opera House, where I watched 'Woolf Works' today. I think it's time to admit to myself that I do not comprehend ballet at all. I usually end up zoning out and just listening to the orchestra.

Life's a bit packed on the culture front recently — going to Photo London and the Globe next weekend — but not a bad thing. Next up on the cultural calendar — the Proms! I would quite like to watch 'Everyman' as well... All much better ideas than the ballet.

Today I also heard from a friend in Hong Kong for the first time in more than half a year, which was really nice, except she's having a horrible time being worked to the bone. I don't envy being in the pressure cooker that is office work in HK. But G, if you read this (you probably won't), it will be okay!!
