Blackheath Day

Two hundred years ago Governor Lachlan Macquarie passed through our town on his way to Bathurst and named it Blackheath.
Actually, that's not quite right.
He named it Hounslow on his way through and named it Blackheath on his return journey.
Not sure what he was thinking:)

There's usually a celebration in the park, but as rain threatened, most of the stalls and entertainment were moved into the hall.

I have a lot of possibilities, but love this.
Many of the small children aren't quite certain about their next move, so thank heavens there's always some goody-two-shoes who was paying attention to Miss Angela.

Just realised I can use the extras to put up some I was considering.
All taken with the gorgeous Olympus 75mm 1.8.
