RELAY for LIFE 2015....

.... the Cancer Councils Penrith Relay for Life 2015 was held today and of course our Prostate Cancer Support Group were actively involved.

With over 130 teams and 1200 odd entrants it was sure to be a top day, particularly being a top weather day, after being postponed on its original date due Sydney's massive downpours recently.

Our Support Group had the honour to start the event and one of our Life members Eric Kent seen here cutting the ribbon to start the walk.

There were plenty of activities and fun to be had as well as the object of walking as many laps possible to raise funds for Cancer research.

Have put a collage in extras showing of some of the fun.

A quick entry, as now off to represent the group in receipt of a cheque from one of the local bowling clubs. They have a jar at the end of the greens where any "mishaps" whilst playing bowls need a donation to be left. Each year the Club donate to us the takings. Normally a tidy sum, so must be a lot of "mishaps"!!!!

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE
