Sturnus vulgaris

Starling

It's breeding seasons for Starlings.  With hungry chicks to feed they're getting braver on the bird feeders.  Our blue tit pair are still fling around, but I haven't seen or heard any activity in the nest.

Mr and Mrs Sparrow now have a rather rowdy batch of chicks in their nest.  You can hear them early in the morning if you're in the bathroom and they kick up such a din when ever mum or dad enter the nest.

Much to my delight this morning, I had a murder of crows lined up on the garden fence, each patiently waiting their turn on the suet coconut.
