Blustery

We finally made a visit today to one of Edinburgh's hidden gems, Dr. Neil's garden. It's only been there since around 1963, but it feels elegant and timeless, hidden away behind Duddingston Kirk. It offers a view of the Loch which brings one in mind of the Skating Minister, although obviously there was no ice around today.

This was one of a number of stops on a grand tour of the environs, encompassing a stop for diesel (we were down to the last teaspoon...), Seafield recycling centre, Fisherrow Harbour, a shoe shop in Bruntsfield and the supermarket.

A quiet afternoon before heading out again this evening to a place where we know the food will be good.
