Memory Tree

The first of the patients moved out of the Victoria Infirmary https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2044159262216687573 today with the last scheduled to move next Sunday. I think there were quite a few emotional scenes today as many people have worked here their whole careers. Some happy memories for many people too and the Chaplaincy is trying to collect them. It was poignant to read some of the notes.

Although my office is in an attached building, my job isn't specifically about this hospital, so I'm a bit detached from that. But many memories attached; my Dad died here and I think all of the family have some connection.
