Caistor

We had some lovely weather, and I took pictures of the house and the garden, but then as I was driving to work, I saw the lovely pink horse chestnut tree, and thought it made a good background for the village sign.

The sign itself is not very exciting - though it does celebrate the fact that nearby is Venta Icenorum.  One of these days, I'll find time to stop at the site itself and take some photos.
