Letter from the past

My dad's Aunty Gudrun gave me 3 books today. They were books, which had been given to my Great-grandmother Emmy (whom I am named after) from my Great-grandfather Kaj almost 100 years ago.

This is a message, which my Great-grandfather wrote in the back of the first book in January 1916. He had just started flirting with her and he is thanking her for her lovely visits during Christmas-time, when she was in Løgstør to visit her family.

They got married 3 years later  in 1919.
