The wheel

I used to work at a restaurant right beside the wheel (pictured) and lots of people would ask "Where is the wheel?" I suppose expecting it to be bigger. I know people expected like a big fairground wheel or London Eye type structure sometimes. Another odd thing that happened lots was if it was dull or rainy folk would always tell me "it was sunny when we left". I don't know why because it can't possibly have been the case. And even if it was I'm still unsure why it mattered or why people said it, given past weather has no influence on the current weather situation!
