White-tailed Deer

A male, from the look of the two little *buds* on his head. He was watching this morning when I came out to put some bird seed on the rock in front of the house. He didn't come up for a nibble, but he didn't run away either. Possibly one of last year's young that used to come around with their Mum in the dead of the Winter to have a snack. The deer are currently being mostly seen singly rather than in groups. I presume the females are birthing young, since very small fawns are starting to show up at The Wildlife Center.
