Brandenburg Gate, Berlin

With one thing and another its been many months since I blipped. Anyhow, life is maybe starting to settle down a bit.

In the meantime I took a local 1/2 day digital photography course. The numbers are still freaky! It feels so mathematic - never my strongest point, but I think I'm getting my head round it and will try and venture away from the automatic setting a bit more.

A much needed break and our first trip of the year is to Berlin. Very easy-going city. No crowds, wide open plazas (maybe that should that platz's) & avenues, unhurried, plenty of room to move. Nice atmosphere.
