In a Navy Garden.

William 111, in gold and dressed as a Roman Emperor. The statue dates back to 1718. He is in the "Porters Garden" at Portsmouth Naval Dockyard. He got `made up` because he gave the go ahead to expand the navy there.

The ship in the background is HMS Warrior.
